⇒Drilling of holes into a brick wall for taking out the pipes
⇒ Fixing a hole sleeve & Cap.
⇒ Fixing & Connecting indoor and outdoor units using the standard Kit provided by the manufacturer. Not covered as part of standard Installation charges are:

Value vs. Price questionable. Solid and a bit quieter than most. Arrived damaged, screws broken off from being screwed in too tightly, plastic broken by same. Remote does not work. LG CustomerService response came from a foreign country, English challenged, and generally extremely poor, discourteous, and unreasonable.

Great unit! After having a terrible experience with a GE window unit, I had to find one that was built and designed better. After much research, I arrived at this one. Even though Ive only had it installed for a day, Ive been impressed with everything about it. It comes with all sorts of things to help seal it up tightly to your window, which other units don’t. Its built solidly with no ricketyness about it. I was completely shocked at how quiet it is! It cooled my room down quickly. I was in unaware that it had a humidity setting at the time I ordered it. I didnt even know window units had those! All in all I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend it.

Easy to install , one flaw is plastic parts buzz the front plastic shell at top next to metal enclosure plus plastic filter cover buzzes and in some positions top air output vent can buzz. I had to put duct tape to stop it on top and pulled filter out and put two small strips in front main cover then replace filter. All is mostly quiet now. Also energy mode setting fan will turn on, then off then on and sometimes continue with full operation.

Great purchase! Very happy! Quiet! It is just what we needed living in South Texas. Our previous 5000 btu couldn’t keep it cool even on high. We have never had this 6000 btu unit on high yet even though its been over 100 out. We live in a travel trailer. It fit perfect in the kitchen window.

Love it. I’ve only had it for a week but so far I’m very pleased with it. The thermostat is not exactly spot on but that’s easily worked out. It’s cooling my master bedroom and bath very well and is very quiet so it would be a great bedroom AC.

Very quiet and effective cooling machine. We needed a quiet and efficient a/c for use in our bedroom, and this model seems to be filling the bill perfectly. It is actually the first LG product we have owned, and its fit and finish and performance have thus far impressed us greatly. For what it’s worth, we live in the humid corn fields of Iowa. This unit is replacing an older, well-built, but significantly louder Kenmore unit that will probably find its way to my home office.

The shipping was slow . If it is going to be slow say it in the original order date . The LG is nice but I had to take it apart to fix the fan on the motor , it was lose . The fan has a squize ring on the shaft , maybe a different ring that slides around the shaft would stay during shipping .
High Pockets –
Feature Rich Unit – 2nd Purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I approved of the first model I bought in 2020 so much, I bought a second unit this year (2021).
The “Energy Saver” feature is great because it turns the unit off when the temperature of the room(s) is reached.
There is a lighted signal that comes on every “2” weeks to remind you to check the intake filter and clean if necessary.
Remote control is really nice to have, especially in the bedroom, when it gets a little too cool in the middle of the night.
Both units do make a slight “bubbling” noise when they restart, but it’s just a function of the fan using some of the condensation water to cool the compressor.
My “2” 6000 btu units cool a 750 square foot efficiency apartment.
Electric bills are very reasonable, even with the higher TVA rates charged during the summer months.
