ASUS Rog Delta S Feature: –
Built-in MQA Renderer
Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) is an award-winning audio technology that delivers a studio-quality sound and reveals every detail of the original recording. MQA Renderer technology in the ROG Delta S headset can connect to an MQA core signal – in global streaming service apps such as TIDAL – to complete the final “unfold” of an MQA music file and provide incredible audio quality.
High-Resolution ESS 9281 Quad-DAC
The ESS 9281 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) features QUAD DAC technology to provide lossless audio processing. Each of its four DACs devotes processing power to a subset of the audible frequency range, from lows, mids, and highs to ultra-highs. The four signals are then combined, which produces clearer sound with an impressive 130 dB signal-to-noise ratio that’s much higher than any other comparable device in the market. Hear every detail and enjoy crisp, clear sound for a true-to-life audio experience with ROG Delta S.

Intuitive control buttons on the ear cup let you instantly control volume, mute the microphone or adjust RGB lighting during gameplay.
Top: Soundwave light mode on

Premium Components
Top-shelf capacitors, chokes, and MOSFETs are selected to effortlessly deliver hundreds of watts at a millisecond’s notice. The Super Alloy Power II parts are soldered to the PCB using our advanced Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process. Smooth joints on the rear of the PCB and the elimination of human errors ensure each graphics card meets our rigorous specifications.
FanConnect II
The rear of the ROG Strix graphics card sports two PWM FanConnect headers that provide additional DIY flexibility. Chassis fans can be directly attached to the GPU and tuned with a curve that is based on CPU or GPU temperature, providing extra intake or exhaust for demanding 3D tasks.
AI Noise-Canceling Microphone
The ASUS AI noise-canceling microphone (AI Mic) has a dedicated processor that’s designed to reduce over 50 million types of background noise while preserving vocal harmonics for crystal-clear in-game voice communication. Common background noises such as chatter, keyboard clatter, and mouse clicks are reduced by up to 95%. The AI Mic is unidirectional, detachable, and certified by both Discord and TeamSpeak. An indicator light on the tip of the boom flashes red when the microphone is muted, so you can easily determine its status.

Love it. love the build quality, mic, RGB. Works perfectly with my google pixel 5. I’m give it a 4 star because I believe the audio quality for casual music listeners could improve.

Headsets RMA. My delta s headset stopped working. I sent into for repair and they were unable to fix them. They sent a new pair. This whole process took about a week. Great service

Almost Perfect. Super light, comfortable and love the syncable RGB. I hate the mic input volume toggle on the left earcup and the fact that the mic came muted. It also just wasn’t putting out good sound straight out of the box. I had to set it to Flat in Armory Crate, turn off the virtual surround and max the bass boost to get it sounding normal and so it’d stop sounding like a tin can, or styrofoam cup. Sounds great now though. Lastly I wish I didn’t need a USB C to A adapter. I’m sure nearly everyone will have to use it. USB should have been standard on this model.

Amazing sound in all the right places! Amazing sound. Especially once I used armoury crate equalizer. Their gaming settings on equalizer were perfect. Not as punchy as other headsets that favor bass. Unfortunately the headset became unrecognizable to my pc and android phone after a month and I had to return in favor of a logitech g430. I could not risk it failing again and being out of warrenty at its current price point. Otherwise I totally would get it again. I have been tweaking my logitech ever since trying to duplicate what I experienced on this headset.

Static Mic from the beginning – overprices garbage. Static mic from day of purchase. Teammates complaining consistently about the poor quality of voice chat compared to my old headset ( steel series pro)
already returned the product and will not be buying again

Perfect. Perfect. Everything performs phenomenalaly. From audio to features. Keeping it simple while ticking all the important boxes. The connectivity is a huge win and the signal is steady and strong.

Not Mac compatible. The website marketed this as Mac compatible but the application you download, only gave PC 10/11 options.

Among the best in the market! This one caught me by surprise! But first off, I have only used these headphones on PC for gaming and some music. So I do have the benefits of mixing my sound using the Armory Crate software.
PROS:
1) They sound amazing compared to other gaming headsets out there and I’ve probably tried over 50 headsets in my gaming life. But to be honest, they sounded average to me out of box. It wasn’t until I personally mixed my audio through Armory Crate that really unlocked its full potential.
2) If you are an audiophile like me, these headphones were very crisp and detailed. Lots of audio mixing options on the PC SOFTWARE.
3) I mean come on, HIFI + MQA music sounds almost like my recording headsets I use in my studio.
4) as for gaming, i like that I am able to keep audio to the max of 24 bit, 92,000 hz. Which just adds more realistic audio experience when gaming.
5) I have used different encoders in the market to aid me in competitive gaming, e.g. dolby Atmos for headphones, dts x headphones, dts x ultra and the list goes on. But none came close to the positional audio surround with these cans.
6) design wise, these take the cake for comfort , and aesthetics. I have used these for hours on end sometimes 8 hour sessions.
7) there’s just a lot to live in these headphones.
CONS:
1) my main complaint is the microphone, to me it’s below average compared to the headsets I’ve used in the past. It’s very muffled, it’s not horrible, just not a fan of it. Even after trying to fix it through the app. Also, mic is quite stiff, so after adjusting it starts to slowly go back to being straightened after a while then I have to readjust again. My friends say my mic cuts in and out sometimes.
2) not sure why, but a few days after using it the audio would cut in and out at times, not sure if it’s a firmware issue or a software issue but it stopped doing it the following day.
3) the USB C cable is waaaaayyyyyy too short!!!! I had to use the USB A adapter just so I can use it as an extension.
4) pretty expensive.
Conclusion:
These are probably one of the best headphones you can get in the market right now. In my case the pros far outweighed the cons so I decided to stick with it. The audio is just so good that I didn’t mind the shortcomings of the microphone. This is a good one Asus! Hopefully you guys can make it GREAT! Just a few more tweaks! I’ll be using these for as long as they work!

Beautiful Sound, Beautiful Look. This is the first item I have ever bought by ROG and I have been hooked since! I originally bought the headset for non-other than the ANIME function, but real quickly realize that the sound quality is great! I can customize just about everything on these headphones, the Animation, the microphone sensitivity, the EQ, and even the sound quality! Even if you don’t plan on gaming these headphones are great for watching movies or just youtubing it up! Oh, and the microphone part of the headset comes off so you can use it to chat whenever you feel like it. I am very happy with these and feel as though I will never need another pair of headphones again!

Very good at its core. The headset itself sounds great and is very comfortable, and the ability to connect via USB C or USB 2.0 lends itself a deal of versatility. I’m not too on board with the microphone plugging in rather than folding up or something, as I have temporarily lost the microphone on my desk more than once and it is not too easy to disconnect it for a hard mute, but overall I am very satisfied.

Excellent headphones. The latest ROG Delta headphones have good quality sound and are very comfortable to wear.

Awesome headphones! Easy set up. Quality sound. Better than expected for wireless.

Comfortable and long lasting battery so far. Great headset so far. Haven’t had it for too long, but from what I’ve used it, it’s a lot better than the other ones. Actually has Bluetooth in these, though I don’t understand why there’s always a Bluetooth audio lag, very annoying when watching YouTube videos and such. Not really sure it’s the headphones fault, I just think Bluetooth isn’t as good as it should be.
